Falafel Iraqi Chef in Mountain View is seriously underrated. The falafel is super crispy on the outside and soft inside, not dry like most places. Their Iraqi bread (samoon) makes a big difference too, it’s fresh and holds up perfectly with all the toppings. Portion size is solid for the price, and the staff are friendly without rushing you. Overall, great spot for a quick, flavorful meal. Definitely worth checking out if you’re in the area.

The falafel here is fantastic, the best I have had in California. The owner is the most kind gentleman in the world! I love coming here with my family. The portion size is huge and generous, and the yellow sauce (amba) that they put on the falafel is very unique and special, can’t be found anywhere else! Must try

Mohammed (the chef) and one of the local workers shared a table and some hummus with me as I ate my large veggie max falafel sandwich. There is complementary hot tea brewed strong. This was everything I wanted out of a gas-station foot-cart. I would ask next time if there is a stronger seasoning or sauce for the veggies and bread. But the falafels were perfect.
